Silhouette
2018 — Solo Exhibition
Dastan: Outside, Otagh-e-Bargh Gallery, Tehran

This exhibition brought together a series of drawings and an installation—an environment shaped by image, darkness, silence, and objects collected over time through a compulsive and attentive process.

The installation consisted of a painting, a sketchbook, scattered drawings, and four groups of accumulated materials and objects—elements that seemed less defined by function than by traces of repetition, attention, and persistence.

Much of the work was developed in solitude and isolation, conditions that deeply influenced the atmosphere of the exhibition. The drawings and objects often existed on the threshold between visibility and concealment, like forms that can only be perceived in silhouette.

In this project, darkness was not simply the absence of light, but a space for concentration, stillness, and the gradual emergence of image.
